STRABAG consortium awarded € 177 million contract in the Czech Republic: new D35 section to strengthen regional connectivity

STRABAG SIS a.s., the Czech subsidiary and road infrastructure specialist of STRABAG SE, has been awarded the contract to build a new section of the D35 motorway between Úlibice and Hořice in the Czech Republic as lead partner in a consortium. The project, with a total volume of around € 177 million (STRABAG share: 85%), comprises the construction of 16.3 kilometres of motorway including 18 bridge structures as well as noise barriers and one junction. Construction is expected to last around 46 months, with work commenced in April 2026. The road is planned to be opened to traffic after 34 months.

Modern 3D machine control technology and LEAN methods will be used to ensure efficient construction and logistics processes.
