Strong partnership for Germany’s infrastructure expansion: Stumpp joins the STRABAG Group

STRABAG and Stumpp join forces in the growing market for infrastructure projects
Strengthening of regional presence in southern Germany
Stumpp Group with annual revenue of approx. € 90 million

Gebr. Stumpp GmbH & Co. KG, based in Balingen in southwestern Germany, is set to become part of STRABAG AG, Cologne. The move strengthens STRABAG’s regional presence between the Black Forest and Lake Constance and expands its capacities in the growing market for infrastructure projects. The Stumpp Group recently generated an annual revenue of around € 90 million with a workforce of nearly 300 employees. The purchase agreement was signed and is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.

The Stumpp Group specialises in road construction and civil engineering, including earthworks as well as sewer and pipeline construction. The company also operates asphalt mixing plants and holds investments in gravel works. STRABAG is thereby securing long-term access to essential raw materials for future infrastructure projects in the region.
