12 May 2026
- New orders and order backlog rise sharply
- Major new construction projects across all divisions
- ZÜBLIN expands its expertise in infrastructure construction
ZÜBLIN increased its total output to 4.8 billion euros compared to the previous year (2024: 4.6 billion euros). The order backlog showed particularly dynamic growth, rising by more than 1.5 billion euros to reach a new record high of 10.0 billion euros (2024: 8.6 billion euros). New order intake also rose significantly, totaling 6.3 billion euros at year-end (2024: 4.2 billion euros). As a result, ZÜBLIN has an exceptionally well-stocked project pipeline for the coming years.
As of December 31, 2025, ZÜBLIN employed a total of 15,179 employees, of whom 9,615 (previous year: 9,354) were based in Germany and 5,564 (previous year: 6,682) abroad. The workforce thus decreased by approximately 800 employees compared to the previous year, which is attributable to the completion of major contracts abroad.
Exciting large-scale projects drive growth
In 2025, ZÜBLIN continued to strengthen its strategically important business segments. The infrastructure and industrial construction sectors continued to perform robustly. Among other achievements, ZÜBLIN secured contracts for major projects such as the Fehmarn Sound Crossing, the first construction phase of the IPAI Campus for Artificial Intelligence, and a megaproject in the semiconductor industry. ZÜBLIN also achieved success in the area of building renovation. For example, the building construction specialist secured the Arne Jacobsen Haus office project in Hamburg and the revitalization of two existing office buildings through their conversion into a large residential complex in Eschborn. In addition, ZÜBLIN is constructing the “&Amsterdam” residential project with 561 apartments in the Netherlands and the “Quartier am Ostpark” in Rüsselsheim with 113 apartments using the MOLENO® serial wood-hybrid construction method.
Against this backdrop, ZÜBLIN is optimistic about the current fiscal year and considers itself well-positioned in the market for the remainder of the year. Already last year, the company expanded its expertise and capacity in bridge construction through targeted strategic investments, such as the acquisition of plant manufacturer Hilgefort and the expansion of the steel construction site in Sande, in order to support infrastructure development in Germany. Through the acquisition of BAUER Spezialtiefbau Austria, ZÜBLIN has further broadened its position in the field of pile foundations.
