16 September 2025
- ZÜBLIN invests around 20 million euros in the Sande site
- ZÜBLIN thus expands capacities in infrastructure construction
- Two new production halls and a modern administration building are being built on the factory premises
Züblin Stahlbau GmbH has been based in Sande since 2011. Today, 120 employees work at the site. The expansion will create around 40 new jobs. Existing buildings on the 100,000 m² site will be demolished to make room for two new production halls, each with 3,000m2 of floor space, and a state-of-the-art administration building with 1,650m2 of office space including a canteen. The production halls are scheduled for completion at the end of 2026 and the administration building at the beginning of 2027.
Another highlight of the expansion is the planned photovoltaic system with an output of around 3,000 kWp. It will supply the site with green energy in future and supports the company's goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2040.
