ZÜBLIN celebrates the inauguration of its new site in Landshut

  • ZÜBLIN expands its presence in the Lower Bavaria region with a new location in Landshut
Ed. Züblin AG is strengthening its presence in Bavaria with the opening of its new site in Landshut. On April 10, 2025, the modern office space at Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 29 in Landshut-Münchnerau was officially opened in the presence of the Lord Mayor of Landshut, Alexander Putz.

The new office building has a modern working environment, including modern work areas for employees and charging stations for electric vehicles in the parking lot. With the new location, ZÜBLIN aims to further expand its proximity to its customers and strengthen its expertise and partnership-based cooperation in the region.

"We want to grow in Lower Bavaria and promote sustainable and innovative construction in a region that is characterized by strong growth. With our teams, we are demonstrating on site the potential that can be leveraged, for example, in the construction of existing buildings and how our MOLENO construction system can create affordable living space," says Claudia Woite, Commercial Director of the ZÜBLIN Bavaria office.

ZÜBLIN is already involved in various construction projects in Landshut, including the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry in the "Grünes Zentrum" development area, which is being realized in collaboration with ZÜBLIN Timber, and the intensive care unit of the Lakumed Clinic.

More renewable energy from hydropower: Refurbishment work at an altitude of 1,700 metres

The energy transition requires high-capacity storage solutions. The Wurtenspeicher is the centrepiece of Kelag’s Fragant power station complex in the Mölltal valley, situated at 1,700 metres above sea level. The dam is being raised by seven metres, thereby almost doubling its storage capacity from 2.7 to 5 million cubic metres of water. Facilities such as the Wurtenspeicher can effectively compensate for grid fluctuations – an important contribution to a sustainable energy supply in Carinthia.
