STRABAG SE: Péter Glöckler becomes new Management Board Member for South + East

The Supervisory Board today appointed Péter Glöckler to the Management Board with immediate effect, where he will take over the South + East segment, which includes Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania, as well as the markets of South-East Europe. He succeeds Alfred Watzl, who announced his resignation last week.
 
Péter Glöckler began his career with the Group in 2003 as Technical Manager in the Concessions business in Hungary. Most recently, he was responsible as Division Manager for South-East Europe, covering a total of twelve countries. “Péter Glöckler not only knows STRABAG’s core business, but has also demonstrated his strategic capabilities in the reorganisation of Southeast Europe,” explains Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board Kerstin Gelbmann regarding the appointment. STRABAG CEO Stefan Kratochwill adds: “He embodies our principle of global-local presence and strengthens our Management Board team with this perspective.”
