- Score up from previous year
- Consistent implementation of sustainability initiatives
CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), an international non-profit organisation, has awarded STRABAG its first “B” score for its sustainability initiatives in the category of Climate Change. A score of “B” corresponds to Management level on CDP’s rating scale.
CDP provides a system by which companies, cities, states and investors can disclose and review their environmental impact data.
The cross-sector assessment underscores the improvement in STRABAG SE’s sustainability performance in the category of Environment. The Group has set itself the ambitious goal in the energy- and resource-intensive construction industry of becoming climate neutral along the entire value chain by 2040. Sustainability is firmly anchored in the corporate strategy until 2030, for example through key strategic topics such as circular construction or the goal of increasing construction activities in the energy sector.
STRABAG is an active participant in the ESG ratings conducted by CDP, Sustainalytics and EcoVadis. An evaluation by these rating agencies provides an objective assessment of STRABAG’s sustainability performance in terms of environmental, social and governance matters. These ratings allow the Group to provide its stakeholders with greater transparency regarding its sustainability initiatives.
