STRABAG SE: Member of the Management Board Peter Krammer resigned his office effective 12 June 2022

  • Peter Krammer not available for prolongation of Management Board term
  • Krammer stepped down from Management Board of STRABAG SE and resigned all other related positions effective 12 June 2022
  • Alfred Watzl to assume responsibility of South + East segment on interim basis

Vienna, 13 June, 2022---In the course of the talks over the new Management Board period 2023–2026 for the STRABAG SE Management Board, Peter Krammer, responsible for the South + East segment, announced that he would not be available for another term as a member of the Management Board. By mutual agreement, Krammer, who will move to the Management Board of another construction company effective 1 January 2023, stepped down from his position as a member of the STRABAG SE Management Board effective 12 June 2022 and resigned all other positions within the corporate group, for example on the supervisory boards of various subsidiaries.

The segment, which includes Austria as well as the core markets of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, will be managed by Alfred Watzl on an interim basis from this date. Watzl joined the STRABAG SE Management Board in 2019 as Management Board member responsible for the North + West segment. On 1 January 2023, Watzl will hand over this segment to Jörg Rösler and assume official responsibility for the South + East segment. At the same time, the segments are being reorganised: Switzerland will be added to the North + West segment, while Poland will move to South + East segment.
